^^^^ even tho they arent the best and it probobly sucks in some category's here are the ratings, its all in the excellent range, http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....Model=HTR+Z+II
Sumi president probably bought tirerack president a boat as a gift to rate them well. He can probably do that with all the sales he was projecting due low cost/high ratings
Sure they are.

i think you guys have never driven on a nice set of tires, i didnt until the pilot sports and my toyos.
let me just remind everyone hear about tires,
i dont care if you have 1000hp
i dont care if you have the most suspension **** ever.
there is only 1 thing that converts your car from what it could do to what it can do, the tires, i wouldnt put sumitomo's on my wheel barrow.

I think that would help a lot. Can't compare just 2 and 2 on the car at the same time. There are plenty of things tires contribute to. And damnit David you didnt listen to me you little girl. Could have already felt what good tires can do if you would have listened.

i switched the rears...both tires ran with same mods on car...ran the same roads...didnt feel a difference...even got a lil wider in the back with 285's...i have no reason to lie...
then i put the fronts on...falken 452's...i went 255's instead of the 245...thats when i felt the difference...my car didnt follow curves in the road and turning was a lil more grippy...so yea caesar if i got all 4 michelin pilot sports i might have noticed A LOT more...cant disagree with u on that cuz falkens made a difference
the biggest thing i noticed was getting difference size tires...for example...
my old set up:
17 inch wheels front with 245/45/17
18 inch wheels rear with 274/40/18
= my overall diameter was almost an inch off...causing my ABS to hate me and stopping power was almost scary at times...
new set up:
255/45/17
285/35/18
now my OD is way way closer and my braking power is so much BETTER...to be honest i never new much about tires (prolly still dont know much compared to other people)...but i understand the sizing a lot more and what
the causes and effects are with different sizes...jsut thought i would share...the wheels and tires section has some great info on their stickies

There are none in the same price range that's the point. They are meant to be a cheap tire. Despite what anyone says they are a decent tire when new, up until maybe 5-6 mos of daily driving, then they are useless. I ran them on my old rims, the 315's actually hooked when new, and relatively new.
On the new rims I have Eagle F1's and they did Excellent on the Streets when i ran it lap after lap.
