You have to pull it into gear as well, It's an auto but you have to shift it manually. When I finish my wiring you should stop by for a spin.

you still down shift, if you put it on 3rd while at a stop the car will leave on third, Same if you start in second.. While cruising and you start to slow down you have to down shift. the only difference is no clutch and the gears are selected vertical.. but the exceleration and launch off the trans brake

Guaranteed Will will get a better ET with this built T56 than he did with his fully built auto. And at the end of the day, a nice DD full weight plus stereo low 10 second 6 speed car thats gets good gas mileage is much for impressive than a auto gutted turbo race car going 10s

Do you know what my car runs? I didn't go turbo to impress people I did it for reliablity. So your saying if will had the EXACT same mods and ran let's just say 10.5's with a built auto and good converter, and he swaped to a built t-56 he will run better ets? BTW my car is not a race car, You will be seeing it around.

ALL glass and body parts are stock, race car would be a car that would need to be trailered i plan to drive mine as much as possible.

No, he's saying that I will et and mph better with my setup with the M6. And I will.

But just for the sake of discussion: I dont see how an auto car would be faster then an M6 when the M6 is dead hooking and cutting 1.4 60's. The M6 will definitely come around it, given the same mods, once the launch is done, assuming the 60' is equal

Hood counts as a body part..

Dude, come on. I wouldn't call a almost 100% gutted 3 spd turbo car, with slicks and skinnies, a 9 in", full drag suspension, no AC/Heater, no windshield wipers, and all the metal thats been cut out of that even close to a street car. Just because you drive it on the street doesn't make it a street car. Its a ******* race car that you can not legally drive on the street.

Maybe, Can you explain why the faster cars on here don't run t-56's.

Because an auto is easier to set up. Why don't the fast cars run computer controlled auto's then?

By setup what do you mean? They don't run pcm controlled autos because they run manul valve bodies.

yes: consistency, ease of driving, and easier to get them out of the hole with big power.
