My old lifting partners work for GPD and another just got out of PPD academy a month ago. Phoenix pays more, but he now has to work in Maryvale district. No thanks, not that some parts of Glendale are ****, but not that bad IMO. You can also look into Peoria, Surprise (only if you want to be a total **** sucker though, they are all DB's out here) or even Maricopa County Sheriff's (pay sucks if my memory is right), also Department of Public Safety could be another ave.
Either way, cost of living isn't to bad out here and the pay is good for what it is.
