I was on the 5th floor of a 15 story high rise in Irvine. Pretty interesting.... Some people went outside but judging from the crowd for the fire drill a while ago, less than 1/3rd of the people working here actually went to the parking lot outside...

I'll take the tornados we have here in the midwest. At least you can run from them ^_^

Plus I know the activation codes for the tornado/civil defence siren.

It's funny when you see some of the rednecks who live right in the middle of 'tornado valley' on the news after having their home destroyed by a tornado. When asked, "What are you going to do now?" They respond, "Rebuild."

Why not get the f*** out of there.

Felt it here in El Segundo. I was at work and its swayed back and forth for a good bit. Thought someone was moving some heavy equipment in the halls. My office mate was freaking out. She was saying what sould we do. I had my chairs up on the chair just chillin'. I told her do what I am doing. She was ready to run out of the building. Its been awhile since we have felt a good one here.

A good amount of water from my fish tank spilled out and my neighbor said my dogs freaked him out. I have 4 dogs and none of them had been through an earthquake before. Apparently the 3 Akitas were barking hysterically about 20 minutes before it happened and my 1 German Shephard was howling.
