Does your dad like your car??? ****, everytime i buy a car my dad hates it! when i got the SS he thought it looked alright then i started to mod it and he hated it, hates how it drives, sounds, looks! now i got the C5 and he hates it cuz i didn't get a good deal on it?? $18000 is ok i think for a 01 C5 with 46K miles! i think he is just hating cuz i got the vette before him!! 
My pop's is an old school hotrodder. He ******* loves my car, he has taken down a BBC ElCo, and a few ricers just for the fun of it 
He is ALWAYS the guy to get something and put a bigger engine into it to make it have *****. My favorite one of all time was his 1963 suburban w/ a 1998 Vortec and 700R4. That thing would pull on all the lil ricers around town it was the funniest thing ever, a 5000lbs bread truck yanking little riced out imports.
He has gotten/given me a 1964 Impala SS vert, 1984 ElCo SS, 1987 K5, 2 SBC's, 1 BBC, TH400, and a bunch of other things over the years. He is always bringing me souvenirs from car movie sets, my dad is the ****.
He is a biker/bike builder now, we built a bunch bikes for customers and him over the years. He recently gave me and my bro the second bike we built for him. I just gotta get it painted and slap it back together.

LOL! MY DAD hates all my projects. lol. He says their ugly and won't let me park anything infront of my house, and when I bring over other ppl's cars to work on them, he gets all mad and tells me that "this isn't a garage". lol. I don't understand it, when he was 20 he was illegally street racing a 69 Camaro with a cam'ed and tricked motor and a stick shift. Now all he wants to drive are slush-wagons. lol. I'm afraid of getting any older...

My dad loves all of my cars cause he gets parts off of em when I start modding, I gave hime the TH400 from my 68 for his 73 Camaro when I put the original muncie back in it, I gave him my SLP Y off of my WS6 for his 01 SS when I did my headers and he used a ton of parts off of the 71 Camaro I used to have to do the work on his 73.
I think he has some dealthy affraid of fear/ respect for it hehe. 
yea my pops hated my bike...than rode it and his mind changed, than i modded it and whenever i complained he bitches that its cus i modded it? old fart...and my car too he loved it and the first time i took him for a ride in it and smoked a import s2000 he f-ing loved it....but guess what, now its a full bolt on car he hates it???
My pops didn't like it at first cuz he said it's a money pit, and cuz it leaked on the driveway. But I think when he saw that I was serious about it, and now that I've had it for 5 years, he's cool with it.

My dad and his brothers used to tear up the streets of San Diego back in the day. He has always been supportive of my muscle car addiction. Granted he started it when he gave me a 83 K5 Blazer with a built 383 on 33" Super Swampers. Now my Z28 he wishes I would just sell to get it out of the driveway(as it sits there cuz i have no room for it at my condo), and he probably thinks I went south due to the GTO with its none muscle car looks, but I think his mind would change if he'd ever go for a ride with me
