tr55's are the most popular on the ls1's for n/a application tr6's are used for nitrous just thought i would throw that out there since when selecting their deal online they give u the option...and to answer your question the tr55's are just as good in my opinion as the ac delcos if not better and are 1/4 of the price. and you should jump on that deal cause those plug wires along are normally 75$

Anyone can get that deal, you don't have to hit up anyone, just order from Texas Speed.

How are you going to determine that?

well looks like i will be ordering some asap hopefully this solves my misfire problems. I put new AC Delcos in about 2 years ago (10,000 miles) and Taylor 8mm wires. When I pulled the wires off yesterday one of the wires was rusted on the plug connector and broke off. Also checked the gap on the plugs (.045). What is the normal gap for the TR55's on the LS1?

It took one PM and a Paypal payment, rather than ordering from their site or calling over the phone. Much easier.

N/A car NGK TR55 gapped @ .058-.060 (OTB they should be .055)

For nitrous, NGK TR6 Gapped @ .038-.040. (.038 preferred)

Not really, checking the condition of the plugs is a good indicator of how the engine is running, now how good the plugs are.

On the contrary, I could tell how well they're holding up for the mileage they have.

How? If they are dirty, oily, contaminated, or discolored...thats all caused by combustion inside the engine.

Does anybody know if the wires come pre-cut and ready to install or is some assembly required?
