There's also a car show on 83rd & Beardsley on Saturday nights which is a lot closer to Avondale. Just keep watching this section as they usually try and meet somewhere during week nights too.

Yeah, there's definitely more old school stuff than newer. I can't say it's the size if the Pavillion's but there's a pretty damn good turnout (more so when it's cooler out). There was a bunch of LSx cars going out for a while but they really seemed to have died down a bit. I went last week and it was pretty damn hot out. I'm sure it will pick up again when it cools off.

My buddy is dating some chick with connections so I got in as >21... Had a pretty good time... other than the $4 for a can of Bud... I had to switch to redbull & Vodka...

I don't know about you guys but I'm about done with this heat... It's exhausting the hell out of me.

It takes about 2 years to get use to the heat. I work in a shop with only swamp coolers. The bay doors aren't usually closed because the the vehicles are to big to fit in the bay. Also it helps that I work out in my garage. Since I sweat so much in the garage because its so hot the heat outside doenst bother me as much.

Well it's actually hotter where I'm from. (believe it or not)... I don't know if you guys have ever traveled to Havasu-Laughlin in the summer...

Moving in this weather just about killed me. I'm turning in some applications today... wish me luck. I need a job!!

Let me know if there are any meets worth showing up to.. I'll check it out.
