I got the same message from this guy. He's located in Riverside but did not see any shop advertised in his fquick account. Be cautious.

I'm sure the farther you go with it, the more caution flags will be raised.

If I had a great idea for a twin turbo set-up, was independent, and wanted to mass produce after using a test mule (since one of your main motivations would be to make money), I would go to a shop that works on the type of vehicle you want to make it for, and pitch it to them. Anything less than that is suspicious, not very well-thought out, or destined for failure.

I don't know man, I'm just a skeptic. I didn't get any of the emails or talk to the guy, but here's how my brain calculates what I've read so far:

Think of it this way:
1. would the $1600 cover the costs of the supplies?
2. is he doing something unique (it hasn't been done before)?

If you answer "no" to either or both of these, you then have to ask yourself:
1. what's his motivation?
2. what does he hope to gain out of this endeavor?

Answer: __________ (fill in the blank)

I'll even go further and say if 3 people volunteer from this site and he accepts all 3 of you, then the answer should be easy.
