no i don't do that but i also don't just let go of the clutch i mainly use brakes when downshifting...

^^^ i double clutch when i slow down to save the syncros. when im in fourth gear 2k rpm i put it into N with clutch out then rev to about 3.5k and quick clutch in then 3rd, that will make the gears engage like butter, but then again u cant do all that when u need to suddenly downshift

i also use the brakes on the streets but when i slow down on an off ramp i downshift

Where you at? There is a decent place around here (Pomona) that will do the rebuild and warranty it for 1yr.

tulare, it's kinda far i think ima drive it till it takes a dump lol appereantly it's gonna go one way or another might as well enjoy it till it's gone
