they pick up a little more power as well, but the factory system on these cars are very efficient

The price for this package is $1295 + Tax
for an intake, thermostat and dynotune...$1,295 + tax...??? So how much of that is the cost of the dyno tune?

550 for intake, 25 for the thermostat, 720 for labor, fluids, and dyno tune?+tax...

If you think it's too high, dont buy, simple as that. I dont believe this package is for a camaro anyways......

720- 350 = $370, obvoiusly you have never installed a vararam on a c6 vette which you need to remove the radiator shroud and cut it with a template to fit the unit and then reinstall the shroud and the rest of the system, the vararam also includes a tb spacer, which include remove the tb as well. all that work plus me draining the coolant and removing thermostat and putting new coolant in it. all that labor into the $370 labor charge, but if you think its too much, then then dont comment

I for one think the price is extremely resonable. Do you work for free?

my pops might get one(c6 zo6), thats why i am even commenting...explaining to him that a ram air kit, thermostat and tune would be $1300 would make anyones eyebrows raise a lil...thats why i was questioning the costs of labor and dynotune, so when he asks me i can tell him the breakdown... i was also emphasizing that the ram air kit for $550 was on the high end...

really...? i thought the op said it was a package for a camaro...THANKS captain obivious...

back on track with the thread...

NOXIOUSS has been shut down....BURN lol. none of the guys that posted have a c6 z06 so tell your friends that have one and they probably won't mind paying since they most likely won't get under the car themselves.

Good point.

Some people in this thread are looking at this through "F-body goggles", which are blurred to the cheap side (and others just have ulterior motives). You don't have the cash for a $70k+ car and then go "wow, $1300 is kinda on the steep side, let's see what Wal-Mart charges".

****, to replace the tires alone on that car will be almost $2k.

It's a good price for mods that obviously produce results.

One more thing: if the mods are so easy and quick to perform on your own, then why does C5Natie have to do it for his friend?
