BFG's radials.
Lets us know what you decide to go with!
I have no experience with the BFG's other than seeing people "try" to launch them on the streets.

we have a winner...those are them...but im not sure if they make this pattern for a 17inch wheel i belive you can only get them for an 18 i forgot ur TT2's are 17's...i kno they make the other pattern but i have had those and i wasnt very happy with them..they were just ok...u will have to check

i thought you said that the criss cross pattern sucked.
Major difference between the two is that BFGs SUCK in rain. If your in a highway while raining dont expect to go over 20mph IF THAT. With the nittos you still have to be carefull but its a night and day differece, they do well.
Like i said you will only notice a hooking difference at the track, and at the point where they start to spin, you willl probably be looking at a new rear end.
Just make sure they are set to proper air pressure and you will love them. And goodluck getting bfgs to last over 5k street and tracking driven DD. Nittos are just better FOR A DAILY DRIVER, if it was more of a track car then BFGs would be fine
notice how the wider the size the more its like a slick?
and yes these hook very nice
