All Chevrolet car show at Community Chevrolet in Burbank 9/14/09
Hey guys, Community Chevrolet and the San Fernando Valley region of the Vintage Chevrolet Club of America are having a car show this Sunday, September 14th.. I spoke with the guy throwing this car show and it sounds pretty cool. It's mainly for classic Chevy's, but he said he'd set aside a space for our F-bodies (or any other bodies) if we rolled. I'm going for sure. The show goes from 10am-3pm.
Mostly vintage Classics, and 60's muscle cars will be there, but we can show our "classics" as well.
It's a $15 entry fee, and our cars WON'T be judged, just displayed. The suggested arrival time is 8-8:30 am. (all cars must be in place by 10am)
(With the entry fee you get a t-shirt, a dash plaque, and you and your passenger get a free Carl's Jr. lunch, and free waters all day long)
The show will be at:
Community Chevrolet
200 W. Olive Ave
Burbank, CA 91502

No I haven't been able to get any track time in with this thing. My 10 second slips are on my gixxer 1k. You could stall @ the line, bounce the rev limiter in every shift and still run a 10 with it.
The car certainly made enough power to get into the 10's, but my failing clutch and lack of sticky rubber has since left me not even to want to take it to track at this point and time. It's currently a daily driver back and forth to work, so if I break something I'm fuxxed. I dont like riding the bike back and forth to work daily because I have to take tools with me.
