lol i used the "is this the 5 0'clock free crack giveaway" line in a thread once...i think like one person got it...
civics are fun to drive....the boosted ones are pretty gay on the street....we did a K series ITB'ed stroker mated to a D series tranny in my buddies 86 hatch...that thing used to rip asphalt man...running a 24.5inch slick and it was still hard to hook that thing on the street...wrecked it before it ever got to the track....10 second car for sure...didnt work as good on the street but still bucked out hard for being a FF car...would launch on STIs all day...
super gutted and a welded diff...it was only fun going straight...haha
im gonna yank out the motor from my crashed honda for the heart of a sand rail im building...went and bought a gang of 1/8th inch steel plate for the body today....i just need to get the bar stock now to start making the frame...its just so hard to decide between round and boxed tubing....

haha no worries....i used to be really into imports before i moved up to the domestic level...lol i still like the engines, and some of the cars, but i doubt youll ever catch me driving one again...ill still build em though...but once i started working on these gen3/4 smallblocks and realized the power potential from them, it was hard to stay away...lol
i decided to just make my life easier and use a later model 4l60...lol no fuss with a special flexplate or trans controller...works better for me...im probably going to end up having to make a trans cross member ...i havent really looked at the stock one yet, but it is huge...i think the install would be way cleaner with a nice tubular piece...
i was actually meaning to ask you for them again...i accidentally deleted all my messages the other day and lost them...i think i got everything covered on that car anyways, but i wouldnt mind seeing how others have done it as well...

Ya i had a feeling you would make it easy on yourself and get a newer Trans. Ive herd tubular trans members make it hard to use x pipe exhausts. just a little info.
