Here's a flowchart of ported AFR heads, ported by Tony, used in a 500+ rwhp 346:

AFR 205s with 57cc chamber:
Lift.........200", .300", .400", .500", .550", .600"
Intake.....158,.. 220,.. 264,.. 285,.. 296,.. 300
Exhaust.. 122,.. 178,.. 217,.. 232,.. N/A,.. 241

Just throwing that out there.

They were hand ported by him. Those were not the normal "production CNC" 205's if i recall correctly.

Correct, It illustrates what someone mentioned earlier that its not all about peak flow #'s.

so i should probably just get some 243 heads huh? that seems to be the general concensus. i was just curious what a port job, a valve job and maybe a milling or different head gasket would do for me. guess it isnt worth the money

In all honesty i would say it all depends on what you want out of the car and what other supporting mods will be used.

Yeah. Like if you were to take the heads straight off a car. I just want to see what base numbers look like on different heads before a +/- 300cfm port job.

...I'm just curious.

I read that due to the differences in casting processes that the 241's are superior to 853's (slightly), but once ported any differences are moot.
