Spotted a black ZL1 on the 8 freeway in San Diego going west. He had a radar detector and a big smile. I was the guy driving the turbo import with dilated pupils and a slack jaw. Made me want a 5th gen (good call, GM).
10 min later I spotted a smiling midget in a cycling unitard riding a bicycle. Hard to say which was more delightful, but I'd probably have to give it to the midget.

He seriously thought it was an LS2, but it's not.

If you are talking about the black Firebird with the LS2 badges on it, I looked under the hood when I met him at a meet in Glendale since he was proud to show me his LS2 swap, it was a bone stock looking LS1. Had stock LS1 harness (no conversion harness), 241 heads (not 799 or 243), stock LS1 front cover (not LS2 cover w/front mounted sensor), stock LS1 PCM (not LS2 style PCM), and stock unvented LS1 valley cover (no LS2 valley cover).
He seriously thought it was an LS2, but it's not.

I ran into a white 4th gen Camaro on my way to Sacramento from Chico on the 4th of July. It must have been close to Yuba City. Did a few runs and got beat. haha... All fairness I had just got the car out of storage and finished my T56 swap. I would like to run again once I get it dialed in.
Car sounded pretty mean though!
