well I say red cuz I saw some red on the car but it may have been repainted. I'm thinking about the nbm cuz I'm in love with that color.

I think I'm gonna just put it back to original. Not trying to make it fast or anything cuz it'll always be slow compared to my 98 z. I just gotta find what everything is stock as in color and well pretty much it. No street hustler here lol.

Really? Maybe its just me but I don't see buying a third gen for anything other than a drag car of some sort, weather rare or not. They don't make a good daily, they don't draw crowds at a car show, people look at them and think red neck mobile, no matter the model or color. But like I said, it might just be me, and it wouldn't take much to make that thing a good street runner, would get it running 11's on motor and throw some spray in it and you could have a good little sleeper.

I have to agree with that. If you have a little bit of money, make that thing a beast. Either a drag car or some kind of street machine. People will say "look at that turd gen... lets race." and you can smash them. If I remember right, those cars were pretty light. Some suspension and performance, and you could have a real killer on your hands.

PLease no louvers...doesnt get more redneck than a third gen with louvers. TT2s look great but the offset is different I think.

I have always thought third gens are sweet. They are about 200 lbs lighter than an LS1 camaro too and have a full cast iron motor, if you put an LS1 in there its got to be around 3000lbs.Id like to pick up a nice black IROC again...

To tell you the truth, I am not sure because I have never looked for parts for a third gen or know what it takes to make them beefy. But first I would start with the suspension. I would call Sam Strano and get an idea from him what you really want. I am thinking something like $1500 for the suspension to start with.
