Default Boost And Nitrous Gurus Come On Inn

Well today after the famoso raceway event some friends
are planning on having some fun afterwards. But the main attraction will be my buddys 02 ss/6 speed full bolt ons and 4.10 gears tuned for a 150 wet shot vs a heavily modified evo mr that runs low 11's and is known for roll racing! they will race best 2-3 for $500! my buddy car runs mid 12's on motor never ran the juice! who do you think has the edge will it even be close or will the evo destroy him!

ya i believe it there are some mean ones out there. Have your buddy race late at night that will help him out the most since he is n/a and the cold air will benefit him and not the evo since the the evo makes his own atmosphere with the turbo. The colder air will aso work help create more drag which will harm the evo more then the camaro. Also tell him to pull out whatever weight he can, rear seats, sway bars, spare tire, extra fluid, ect... A lot of those things add up espically when you have a good amount of money on the line.

yeah after famoso usually close to midnight, we are all gonna go chill at a local fast food joint set up some runs and head out by that time its pretty cold at night! the only thing the camaro owner has to his advantage, he is literally a professional driver lol! when i have gone to the track in my car i only got mid 13's lol he got me a 12.88.................

On a roll race I would say the TA has the advantage given it's a low speed and he can hook on the bottle. Ideally w/a 1st gear roll w/rpm at 3k, nitrous activating at WOT, the TA should have instant torque while the turbo car is building boost. The higher start speed, the more advantage for the turbo car (less shifting and is in boost longer).

With the 4.10 gears the TA is top speed limited so make sure to set up the race so that it's over before you go into an over drive gear (120 or 130mph?).

If its well built, fully forged it "should" be able to handle a 200 shot. You have to pull timing or else the results could be nasty. May also want to run race gas.
