Will the 'security light' make you fail smog?

Will the 'security light' make you fail smog? The visual inspection will they not pass it because of the security light stays on?

Just got back from smog and i passed. Basicly i have stock except for lid and exhuast so wasn't too worried.
Funny thing, i had to take it to a 'test only station' and i passed smog easily but for "inspection reason" it says 'High Emmitter Profile'?
How can this be if i have never failed smog?

Mine was 10 cents 
. Opened the steering column and completely disconnected the passkey wires from the ignition and put a resistor on the wire so the security light would go off. I'll fix it right if I ever sell it.

the vats bypass thing is a hit or miss with this... I didnt have time to mess with it and i needed the car right away....(btw my column steering lock happened to pop up right when i got the car back so I had them fix that as well)so I just payed up the $$$
