Whats the widest tire I can put on a 18x9.5 wheel ?? I have 18x9.5 wheels on the rear of my 1999 SS. Right now i have 275/40-18 tires on the wheels. Is that the widest I can go ??? Because im looking to put sum drag radials on my SS. I'd prefer to get some Nitto drag radials

i went off that chart when i got my rear tires and saw 285 as the widest, so i got those...
but what would happen if u put 295's??? anyone know...is it unsafe at certain speeds...?
