blow head gasket?

I don't even know where to start.....
The guy that worked on his car told him that his driveshaft is in really bad shape because it is pretty beat up and has dents on it. He said the e-brake bracket is broken and has been rubbing and hitting the the driveshaft for a while. He told him to be easy on the car because the driveshaft looks like it could twist at any moment. He then suggested that he get a new DS asap.
Then the guy said he MIGHT have a blown head gasket because there is oil in his coolant which i seen with my own eyes. He told him about the head gasket as more of a heads up and to keep an eye on it.
We will be blocking off the air system. This ticking noise he is referring to is coming from the valve.
