Catted Y question....

Right now im running and ORY with LT's and Magnaflow cb and it sounds too loud for the street.... way too much rasp...
do u think catted y will quiet down my car???
cause im afraid i will get puled over again...

It WILL NOT quiet it down any, but it WILL take away the rasp. I had the same issue, and added a couple cats and the rasp was completely gone, but it still ROARS at wot

ya it will take the rasp away, not to mention it will be a bit more legal to have cats then no cats

its just toooooo raspy, way too raspy.... i only like it when i go WOT, but at normal speed, it sounds like ****

I put a magnaflow 3 in 3 out 4 inch round muffler it works great kills the rasp. http://www.magnaflow.com/02product/s...asp?zone=main&

I went from ORY to a TSP catted Y and DEFINITELY quieted down the car...still pretty loud through the cut-out but not nearly as loud as without the cats. BTW...I'm running magnaflow hiflo cats.
