Default Should i trade?

Ok, i have a 2000 WS6 A4 with 73000 miles and it has a rebuilt title. I have a guy ready to trade, he has a 2001 Camaro SS M6 with 70k miles with a clean title. There are some things i dont like about it tho. It has a carbon fiber hood, and lambo doors (the fender and door dont line up perfectly). I really want an M6, what should i do? Didn't really know where to put this by the way.

find one without lambo doors, the camaro just sounds kind of ghetto, but this is one of those things it all just depends on what you like, one is not better than the other, just depends on your taiste.

The good title part on the camaro helps alot. Is the door conversion something that is easy to change back? I personally prefer the ta over camaros, so it'd be an iffy trade for me. And sounds like you plan to keep it, so no real advantage over a clean title. I'd probally convert it to an m6 and be done with it. But value wise, you'd be ahead with the ss.

What do you think your ta is worth?

Well, you can always get a factory hood, and change back the doors on the SS. You could also do a transmission swap in the WS6 too. I like the fact that the SS has a clean title, which could get more money than the WS6, and may be easier to sell if you decided to do so down the road. Fixing the minor things that are wrong with the SS may be cheaper than doing a m6 swap in the WS6. If the lambo doors were done using a bolt on kit, it should be easy to swap back, so if it were my decision, and i wanted a manual car, i would probably trade for the SS and fix the minor problems it has. You may even be able to sell the hood and door kit to someone wanting more of a show car, you never know.

Some of those lambo-door jobs are pretty hack and require excessive welding/fabricating that does a lot of "damage" that is not easily restored to stock. I'd get all that stuff looked at before you made a commitment to swap. The carbon fiber hood is an easy 'fix'.

You need to do this trade bro.. Your car with a rebuilt title isnt worth more then say 8k.. So his car is easily worth 4k+more then yours. lambo doors or not
