Default 2001 Z28 w/ seized motor

I pretty much am considering this car a roller, but it has some mods that could work on a new motor. I also dont know what caused the motor to seize and if it can e fixed.

Here's the add:
VERY CLRAN 2001 camaro z28 seized motor (lots of mods)This is just a feeler just to see if i get any interest. Yes the motor is seized on it and its a VERY clean car.

38,000 original miles on body
LOTS of mods on the car
Enough extra parts to almost build a new motor

Where are you located?

Also, it has a 99LS1 out of a Vette in it now........what happened to the '01 Camaro LS1?

You've gone through two engines within 38,000 miles? That's pretty aggressive.

that is true, its hard to do 2 motors in with just 38,000.

is it possible to fix a seized motor or is better to just replace

You're guessing until you disassemble the motor. Could have a rod stuck in the side of a cylinder, could be hydrolocked, could just have the rings frozen up.

If it's just rings, I don't see a problem with rebuilding. If there's a rod poking through a cylinder wall, well, a lot more is headed to a scrapheap.

My 94Z has 68k miles and is on its 4th engine.
