2002 ss som 22k miles
In regards to your specific car, the color is very desireable from what I have learned from so many posters. To find it on a low mileage, hopefully 'excellent condition' car is another extreme plus. If an older person owned the car with full documentation since purchase, add another plus. You are now presented with the best scenario for a car you would love to have. Right? Look at the retail prices offered at NADA, KBB, any guide you can find, and add $2,000 - $3,000 over that if necessary. Why?? The reasons are easy: it is a car YOU really want, it is a car that will be hard to find elsewhere (actually very difficult with that mileage and in that color), and performance or muscle cars get premiums for being in truly #2 condition (#1 cars are trailer queens with even less mileage and basically showroom). You will also not have to worry about any major repairs hitting you. That is why the premium you pay for a car of this type is so well worth it. Of course try to get the car for as low a price as possible but don't kick yourself later for passing it by for a few thousand. You will regret it and it will be a mistake. Life is too short. You pay for everything miserable in life trom taxes to insurance each and every year. Don't overpay for any car but don't deprive yourself either. Good luck! Let us know how you do. I'd like to know.

While owners might not want to hear it...the prices ARE coming down on them. With the economy being what it is...it's currently a buyers market. When I was looking for a car. There were no less than five low mileage SS's (two with mileage lower than 22k) listed on this forum. These cars (even in showroom condition) aren't as rare as people think.
I'm sure that's going to be one sweet ride. Either way, I may be a little biased because I own an '02 SS but regardless, it doesn't take away from the fact that '02 was the last model year in 35 consecutive years. It's a great ride to have and if it's in stock perfect condition (which it seems to be) I stand by my personal opinion that for 15k, this car is a steal. Op, let us know how it turns out, good luck!!

There's absolutely nothing limited/rare about a vehicle that upwards of 600 were made in just one of the offered colors. SOM looks cool as hell though, I have to say.
