2002 Camaro Z28 L92 427 559rwhp - 1 owner 60k miles
Toying with the idea of selling my 2002 Z28 and buying a Challenger. The low down on my car... 60,200 miles, I'm the original owner, it was my daily driver for about 5 years. I bought it new at Champion Chevrolet in Austin in February 2002. Paint has some chips on the front end where a piece of plywood flew off the road at me, and there are 2 other small scuffs, otherwise no exterior blemishes and the paint still shines - has been garaged most of its life, even at work. Interior is still nice, leather seats aren't cracked, no tears on carpet. Its a little dingy now because I haven't scrubbed in the inside in a while, but the car definitely cleans up well.
Last year I dropped in an HKE built L92 427. Scat forged crank and rods, custom Wiesco pistons, TFS 235 heads, 254/262 cam, yella terra 1.7s, FAST 92, etc. etc. It was built for N/A power only and has about 1,000 miles on it now. Dyno'd at 559 rhwp on motor with a conservative tune by Moe Bailey. T56 was rebuilt at the same time the motor was built. Moser 12 bolt with 4.10s - which is too steep - needs taller tires or a 3.73. New Monster clutch and flywheel. Koni yellow single adjustable shocks on all corners, Strano sway bars. Kooks 1 7/8 headers with TSP x-pipe and Moroso spiral flows. I still have most, if not all, of the receipts, dyno sheets, plus the original window sticker, the few time slips from the track, etc.
I've made 7-8 passes at the track, best so far is an 11.40 @ 122 with only a 1.92 60', this was a couple of weeks ago. I actually hit 125 on a different run, maybe an 11.50 or so IIRC. With better weather and a better 60' (keep in mind right now its more of a road race suspension) this thing should hit 10s no problem.
The other thing that has me thinking... San Antonio Raceway told me I needed a rollbar if I came back (b/c of sub 11.5 run), and I'm not sure I want to get into that at this point.
Car actually sits 3/4" lower than when this pic was taken due to the Koni shocks and heater hose mod. Also, it has BFGoodrich drag radials on the back and Kuhmo Ecstas on the front now, same wheels.

Not sure what its worth to be honest, that's why I'm posting here, lol. I guess the key facts are that its a one-owner car, fully documented, clean interior and only a few minor flaws on the exterior - with paint that still sparkles almost like new. That and the fact it should be a fairly reliable low 11 or 10 second car.
Not planning on selling until spring though unless something changes.
