2000 NHRA Formula m6 worth?
I have a Pewter NHRA Formula, m6 80,000 miles. Unmodified, bone stock except K&N drop in filter and bottom of air box opened up(not visible). The previous owner was a lady, had to do a clutch job due to teeth missing on the flywheel(?). No body damage ever, minimal surface rust underneath, top side is excellent. Very clean, cloth charcoal interior is 9 out of 10, paint is 8 out of 10(few chips and a shallow nickel sized dent in the hood). A guy inquired about it today and asked if I'd like to sell it. I'm not sure if I even want to sell, but I can't find any quick ideas what it is worth. Thanks!

Wow, I must be way off, but I figured it might be worth closer to $12-13 range, I guess I'll just keep driving it. Can't hurt it if they don't bring any more money than a regular Formula or T/A. Thanks

Sorry for the bad news. The NHRA package is a nice little 'add-on' for re-sale purposes, especially if 'collector car quality' with real low miles (only 97 NHRA Formulas were built in 2000), but not really worth much extra on an 80,000 miles 'every day' type car. Enjoy it for yourself. I like it personally as it adds interest to your car and I like the badging.
** On a side note just for your enjoyment or info (in case you did not know already): Only 215 NHRA Firebirds were made in 2000, another 145 in 2001, and 535 in 2002. Besides badging the only real add-ons were the power steering cooler and GSC tires. The retail package was just under $1,100. Also, from what I understand you could not get a WS6 package with it, just Formulas and regular T/As were eligible. Pontiac was a major sponsor of the NHRA and the 50th anniversary was celebrated in 2001, thus the commemorative edition was created.

Thanks, I had researched it when I bought it, I knew there were only 97 Formulas made. I dyno'd this car with only air box mods done and got 328rwhp. I love it and probably will just keep driving it. When someone tracks you down to ask about your car, it gets you thinking.
