2002 som ws6
I am possibly looking to sell my 2002 WS6 Trans Am and wondering what you all think I can get for it. It sunset orange metallic, 6 speed, black interior, 112,000 miles. Interior is in good condition and has the common crack on each door panel. I recently put in an all Eclipse stereo system. CD7200 MKii head unit with HUMount, two sets of component speakers, 10" sub in stealth enclosure, and a mono amp and 4 channel amp. Exterior is in great shape for the miles. Has a 6 inch scratch on left front fender, and one on right rear quarter panel. Oil has been changed with castrol edge. Engine runs great, but has the typical piston slap. Newer auburn differential. Newer LS7 clutch and flywheel with new slave and master cylinder. SLP loudmouth exhaust. Just had both cats replaced under warranty. Has been lowered with eibach springs. New edelbrock shocks on back. Has Nitto 555 tires all around that have 3,000 miles on them.

That's a lot of miles but you still might get $9,000 for it if you are lucky. The color and 6 speed will work in your favor for many 'lookers'. Cars with over 100,000 miles are not easy to sell for big $$, but good luck!

I know a guy local to me that sold his 2001 som ws6 with about 70k on it for $15k. was a clean car, and he had a little suspension work. Everybody freaks out at the over 100k cars, but like said above, being an '02, 6spd, and som, I think it sould be worth a fair amount more than the regular ws6. It will be worth some money to somebody, you just might have to be patient.

I've seen them go for $12k with 80k miles; but $15k is a bit of a stretch. With 120k miles I wouldn't think it'd go for more than $8k. Never hurts to list it high and give yourself room to go down though.

I definitely agree that the SOM and M6 will help you sell it. I would say based on a lot of others on here that it'll go pretty quickly at $10k and if patient you might luck into $12k. The T/A's seem to be going for around $2k more the the camaros since they reintroduced the 2010's, so it'll still bring good money even with some miles on it. By the way, don't let 112k miles scare you. I've seen 200k+ on LS1's now as long as they're maintained. Put it this way, if you decide to let it go for $8k, you let me know first and I can prolly have it sold for you to one of my friends within a week.

Thanks again for your input. The day after I posted this I noticed it has started to get the dreaded bubbling of the paint in the sail panel so I know that will hurt it. I am going to see if anyone wants to buy it locally and then post on here if it doesn't sell. Thanks again.
