If all is good then that is about right. I paid 8200 for my 98 with 73K miles on it less than a year ago.

I like the one owner, adult owned aspect of this car as long as there are no issues (title, Carfax). If you can verify the truth of this subject matter and the car has a decent maintenance history (look at the fluids if no paperwork) then it sounds like a 'GO'. Always offer a little less though. Like everyone said, sounds about right. But especially with dealers, always throw them a lower offer. I haven't met a car dealer that's firm on his initial asking price.
