Agreed, way to high! Payed that for fully documented, 2 military owner, 14,000 mile Camaro SS. He thinks the crate motor makes it worth it because of the money he spent on it, but not in my book. Seems like another dogged out F-Body with a crate motor. PASS!!!!!!!!!!

People are proud of their f bodies. I know a guy that has one for sale that has a hole in the side of the block and he still wants $10K for it. I looked for months before I found one in decent shape for less than $10K. Id hold out for a better deal I picked my 98 w/ 72K miles for $5K

Guy must've been on some of that good hasheesh.. $16k. It definitely looked like a clean car the exterior was nice other than the catback which had some decent rust on it. I always wanted a WS6 so when I saw it sitting there I had to check it out. I wouldn't even buy it for $10k even with the crate. How do I know he didn't do a H/C build, spray the **** out of it, blow the engine up and there I'd be sitting with a 4L60E with 2k miles left in it.
Don't get me wrong I love my LS1, but if I was dropping a crate engine into an f-body tomorrow I wouldn't even think about dropping another one in. LS6 and up or junk it..

That's way too much. I bought a single owner '02 Z28 A4 for 10,500 and it only had 19k miles on it. This was last summer and it has the RS ground effects (which some hate but I love) and a few bolt on mods like a lid, SFC and strut tower brace. Good deals are out there - keep looking!

That is absolutely overpriced. I think I would have a hard time paying anything over 6.5k-7k. I bought my SS with a little over 67k miles back in April for 9.8k and I feel like I could have gotten a better deal. Now, that WS6 is listed at 16k, does not have the original LS1, has 99k on the body and you even mentioned that it's not really in the greatest of condition either. I'd pass, much, much better deals out there man.

Yea, I also agree it's wayyy too much. Last fall I paid 12K for an 02 35th anniversary SS that had 80,000 miles on it. And that was at a dealership. Deals are out there...Be patient.

Where the hell did you find an LS1 f-body with 72k on the clock for $5k!?! Share with me! haha
Is it just me or does it seem that T/As especially WS6s demand more $$ than Camaros? Even if you look on eBay the prices for Camaros vs Trans Am's have some variance.
And I apologize for having this in the wrong section; totally forgot there was a "whats it worth" section.

I think people believe that since pontiac is no longer around there cars are worth more. Not to me, but each there own. T/As are considerably higher priced against camaro ss here in dallas also. Will say I like Trans Ams though!
