2500-3000 wouldnt be bad...but i mean 160k is a bigger amount for any car.
dont buy a lemon, get it inspected, but dont try to be a huge *** hole and say "oh it needs this and this and this" but hopefully he can understand where your coming from and meet at a fair price.
Besides...who wants a v8 when gas is $4 a gallon.
ALSO my 98 LS1 camaro has 90k on it atm, bought it at 89k, paid 5600 for it, minimal work needed, just minor maintenance which will be up to date this summer.

I would never advise anyone to get a car with that much mileage at any price. Why?? It will need repairs. If not now, it will much sooner than later. Throwing in good money for a car that is getting close to the end of it's life is never a good idea. Even if the engine was healthy, so many other things fail. Brakes, tranny, you name it. All mean good $$$. If you had to sell, forget it. Very few will be interested.

Stick at $2,500. Definitely worth it as long as it runs good. Mileage is less important than how the car was treated. I've seen 60k cars in worse mechanical shape than 150k cars. If it's an M6, it's a steal. If you're not interested, please send my way.
