not sure if this is a FI question or not but, just finished up a custom turbo kit on my car and was looking at getting a set of 317 heads to lower the C/R and all, well i can get a reman cyl head for $280 a head with a 1 year warrenty, comes with new valves and springs, so would be a bout $550 ish with tax, would this be a good deal/way to go or would i be able to get a set cheaper? thanks!

FInd a used set on here or local. Got mine for 200 used they just needed to be cleaned up.

I would recommend some good valve springs too you will incounter valve float once you start turning the boost up.

Definitely go used! You can find used ones for 150-300 A SET pretty easy!

I think 95bowtie nailed it. I just picked up a clean set on here for $200 shipped and they were in great shape. I'd go that route and send them out yourself. This way you can choose the right springs for your particular setup.

ah ight, is there not a lot that can go wrong with heads? i just dont wanna get a set and have one or both be warped or cracked or something is all, and ight ill look around and see
