Leather? What # in the SS series is it? Mine is #260, and as a reference I paid $12 for it in 2001 with the same mileage as yours, though mine is an auto. I'd say still in the $11-$12 ballpark for yours, the market is bad right now but you do have a considerably rare Fbody.

It will bring more than $11-12k even in this market. I've seen a 97 SS (M6) with 20k miles sell for $13-13,500 a couple months ago, a 96 SS (M6) with 12k miles sell for $14k back in June, and a 96 SS (auto) with 8k miles sell for $14,200 in April. I paid $10k for my 97 SS in February that is pristine (M6) and has considerably more miles (50k).

These LT1 SS cars are still bringing good money, and seem to be getting more desireable.

Nice 'premiums' are associated with 6 speed cars like this one with documented, extremely low mileage. The number of owners can impact the price as well, especially to collectors. This car, if represented accurately with those miles, paperwork, stock, and a clean title, can easily bring mid teens numbers, maybe even a number approaching $20,000 but it better be close to a #1 or #1- classification to even think about that. That means no longer driven and perfect showroom condition. If a #2 car, then mid teens should not be a problem if patient for the right buyer. If you do sell, Hemmings will be the right venue for showcasing your car. A good on-line ad is about $40 the last time I looked.
