Hey guys! I'm trying to sell my car I'm not sure what its worth but have a general idea. KBB puts it around 5300-4300 in my area. Im just gonna jump right into it.
2000 Camaro z28 6-speed
+
Has SAP factory body kit
6-speed
NEW CDT sound system
new brakes
new alternator
new water pump
just had an oil changed and detailed the car.
Glossy exterior
T roof
Black
100% stock for the most part
-
Loud noise due to input bearing
Im getting a short somewhere so voltage keeps overcharging at times. not all the time though.
Engine light on because reverse lockout solenoid not fixed.
soo what do you think its worth!
Thnx guys.

With no issues fixed, the way it sits.. kbb is honestly pretty close. I would be happy with anything over 5k and settle for anything over 4,500.
The volt issue is scary.. I hate electrical stuff.
With the issues fixed you might get 6k out of it if its clean for the miles.
Pics? Location?

180,000 miles is a killer for any car, not just our F-bodies. Although I like KBB as a tool in pricing I believe you will have a tough time getting anything close to that, especially with the few issues you described. Most buyers won't even consider a car with mileage approaching 200k even if no issues. Definitely ask those prices if you want, then take the first reasonable offer over $3,000. It will probably be your best one. GLWS!!
** Just a note: My area of the country shows your car worth $3,300 in 'fair' private party condition with those 180,000 miles. No idea where you live but your price range seems high.

3,300 is very low.. This car as a roller would pull at least 3,000... You can buy wrecked cars in decent shape (with motor/etc) for 2,500 all day long.
Depending on how bad I needed/wanted to sell would factor in my price.. No matter what, 4,300$ would be absolutely lowest. Its a running driving 2000 t56 ls1 car.
