About to buy a 99 SS....

Could use some feedback...About to buy a 99 SS from a small dealership. Looks good, runs solid, sounds nice, 104K, clean car fax, paperwork for five years of maintenance and a couple repairs, new tires and brakes. One exterior blemish - a fair amount of paint bubbling on roof. I also hear a little squeaking on the inside and a slight rattle when I hit 90 on the test drive - - $7K (right in my price range). Is this a good deal or a not worth it?

The squeaking isn't coming from the transmission or engine is it?

The squeaking is not coming from the engine or transmission. Sounds like it's coming from the backseat.

Push on the panel that the top of the seats end on. It's a good thing to have a girlfriend for on long trips. It gets annoying.

I got a 99 T/A, all stock, 102k miles for 6k from a stealership, sold it for 6.6 in a week. They buy them at dealer auctions for 4-5k.
