Should i buy it?? 1999 black z28, a4, 150xxx miles,all stock execpt flowmaster catback, power windows and seats, good tires, no rust, cars in pretty good shape for 4000??

Yeah, I'd say that's a pretty good deal if it doesn't have any serious mechanical issues. I wouldn't worry too much about it having 150k miles, these motors can last a good while longer than that if maintained properly.

For $4,000 you can't go too wrong unless it is ready to fall apart. That is still really high mileage though, and it would scare me. Not something to lightly toss aside. Having said the obvious, the good news is even if you needed to put a few grand into it, you would then have a hopefully 'now decently repaired' car for $6,000- $6,500 or so. Certainly not a disaster financially if worse came to worse.
