Default What is this worth?

I found a 98 Camero Ls1 auto car.

Totaled, with 177k. I was going to do a swap into a G-Body. So this I thought was great.

What would it be worth? I know that someone will say "whats it worth to YOU".

I am just asking what the going price or value is.

Honestly, an engine with close to 200,000 miles is almost worthless unless you can re-build it yourself or would prefer to go that route. I understand the want to put in a decent engine into a G-body, but make it worthwhile. If you don't have the $$ right now, then wait and save up. If you still want this high mileage engine I sure would not pay more than $500 for it. Even that seems crazy when you can get a small block crate engine for around $2,000 or so, which would be just super for that G-body. Look at this link if you are not familiar with prices.

okay let me clarify something this is an entire 98 camaro. I'll be able to use the transmission and all accessories and everything else!

he is only asking 1100 for the complete car it does not include the differential.

as far as rebuilding the motor I'm not against it although I do not want to have to buy different pistons.

so again what is a complete dropout out of a 98 camaro everything works
