Default 1994 396 LT1 Z28 low mileage

Hey guys, just curious what you all think this car is worth. Ive considered selling it for a while now to get something with a 6 speed.

Original red paint which is awesome, body has no damage at all, small spider crack in the rear bumper.

Small crack in the dash, and needs a headliner. Other then that interior is good.

Cold AC, good heat, wipers, power seat, power windows, power doors, brand new radio and all new speakers. NO weight reduction. New brakes.

Motor is a golen built 396 with 12,000 miles. Still put down 446 RWHP locked converter when it had 11,000 on it. This is not the typical golen motor that is bashed, its a STRONG runner.

Trans is a built 4l60 that has thousands into it, 4000 vigilante converter that was just refreshed.

Rear is a low mile 3.23 that makes absolutely no noise. SLIGHT and i mean SLIGHT noise on a deceleration.

17x9 and 17x11 deep dish ZR1's that are pretty good.

New rear sport shocks, BMR TQ ARM relo, Lakewood LCA w/ Relo, stock front susp, new 275 MT radials

The car itself has only 93,000 original miles. This was in GM high tech 2006.

So basically..

The Good
-Great body, paint, undercarriage, strong motor, strong trans, good rear, nice exhaust, decent interior, lots of new parts.

The Bad
-Headliner, MINOR rust on the inside top of hood, uses a little oil depending on how hard you are on it, terrible gas mileage, lol.

My estimation? i would like 6,500 for this car.

Any thoughts?

Any input? A few of my friends think its pretty much a steal and i tend to agree. Not many clean LT1 cars in this area.

These things dont seem to get answered much and i can see why with some of those listings in the classifieds, no disrespect anyone lol...

SO i will tell the few locals interested 6500. Wont find another LT1 like this in our area!

Even for a part out... 2500 for the motor, 1000 for the tranny, 400 for the converter, 600 for the wheels, theres 4500 right there.

Thats a decent asking price. Is there any work done to the tranny or suspension?

Post pics.

Yeah, the trans has a few thousand into it, built by a local shop whos owner worked for GM for 20 years as a drivetrain specialist. He KNOWS 4l60s lol. This thing wont even hit the limiter roasting 1st gear.

Suspension wise the rear shocks are new, new lakewood LCAs, new BMR tq arm relocation and lca relocation brackets.

Not the best pic but i'm at work, i have really nice pictures on my facebook.
