Guys who have parted out Fbodies: How much you usually get? How much can an LS1 powered FBody bring when parted out?
I know, I know, depends on condition/damage/mechanical etc.
But let's say a running 99 stock standard fbody with 200k miles with no body damage or damage on un-removable rear quarterpanel (that doesn't matter for partout for the most part), and everything works, assume the most common options (cloth interior, standard package without ramair or scooped hood) if I were to part it out, how much would the take be?
My guess:
LS1 Dropout (computer, pedals, harness etc etc enough for hotrod to have turnkey)
A4 dropout $2000
M6 dropout $2500?
Various Interior stuff including cloth seats, dash, consoles,seatbelts $800?
Mechanical not tied to dropout (diff, dshaft, wheels, brakes, etc) 750?
External body stuff (lights, windshield, ttops, body panels) $800?
So I come up with maybe $4000 to 4200ish?
