Converted in 2004 by my son and his best friend from Magnaflow.
4 page article in Chevy High Performance in November, 2005
Show quality - ALL black
Magnacharger installed 2008/2009
About 85000 original miles - I am the second owner - car was stored from 1973 to 2002 with only 40 miles put on it. Was used as a pantry for 30 years.
Too much car for me anymore - want to sell - ALWAYS garaged. Has not been driven in over a year.
I want 48K - what do you think?

It's possible but may be too high. You won't be competing with the original matching numbers crowd which limits the market a bit, but with your car being so nice, and also featured in a magazine, it certainly adds appeal. The average auction prices are in the high 30's generally for non-original #1 or #2 condition 1965 Chevelle show cars so you are certainly within range. Asking $48,000 is certainly not out of line, especially if you are allowing for negotiating room. All you can do is try. You can always bring your price down after a few weeks.
You are competing with other cars quite similar so having too high a price is never a good thing. Let me just give you this example listed in the new Hemmings (Oct 2012 issue) to show you what I mean; 1965 Malibu coupe with complete frame off restoration and new LS6 and 6 speed, new Dupont paint, etc... Sounds sweet and and he is asking $39,950.
GLWS!!
