Looking into selling my 1998 Pontiac Trans Am. Obviously the wrong time of year in my state to be selling this but getting everything together.
The bad:
102,000 miles on the odometer
Minor issues with paint
Interior needs some work. Wired in new stereo but didn't finish since I was going to change the interior entirely.
Salvage title from accident 12 years ago
Underhood needs cleaning up
Everything else I would put in the "good" category.
Engine
-1998 347 LS1
-New stock crank (pinned)
-Diamond -9.6cc dished pistons
-Scat 6.125" I beam connecting rods with ARP 2000 rod bolts
-241 heads
-ARP head bolts
-LS6 intake
-Stock mains and bolts
-2002 Z06 camshaft
-Melling oil pump
-LS2 timing chain
-7.400" TSP pushrods
-Stock rockers with Comp Cams trunion kit
-PAC beehive valvesprings
-LS7 lifters
-Motor has about 2,000 miles on it since the rebuild.
Transmission
-Rebuilt T56 with about 35,000 miles on it
-Monster Level 3 Clutch
-Tick Master Cylinder
-Pro 5-0 shifter with short stick
Turbo Kit
-On 3 Performance single 76mm turbocharger
-Heat wrapped custom built hotside
-Turbosmart 45mm Hypergate
-Tial 50mm BOV
-AEM Wideband O2 sensor
-Glowshift boost gauge
-Snow Performance Stage 2 Water/Methanol Injection Kit
-Godspeed Intercooler
-Hallman manual boost controller
-Currently running and tuned for 14psi. Easily adjustable and runs well at all boost levels but 14 psi is about the max I would go with the current PCM.
-Speed density tune done by Carl at CJ Tunes. One of the best in the business.
Fuel System
-Siemens 60lb HI Injectors
-Dual Walbro 255 fuel pumps
-2nd fuel pump runs off of a boost referenced Hobbs switch and turns on at 5psi
-AEM fuel pressure gauge
Suspension
-Bolt-in subframe connectors (can be welded)
-Spohn Tunnel mount torque arm with driveshaft loop
-UMI Boxed lower control arms
-Bilstein shocks
-Brand new drilled and slotted rotors
-Brand new Hawk brake pads
-Brand new rear 285/40R17 tires
-Front tires have about 2,000 miles on them
The motor was rebuilt and broken in and I put about 1,200 miles on it before installing the turbo kit. I have put under 1,000 miles on it since installing the turbo.

Any help setting a price point would be appreciated. I know the odometer and salvage title hurt but this thing runs like an absolute beast. Very friendly to drive on the street. I don't have any dyno numbers or track times yet. I was going to get all of that this spring but life is happening right now. I'm not in a "need to sell quick" position whatsoever.

So much has been written already this week about modded salvage title cars similar to yours. See some of NeedTransAM threads in this section and his quest for a car like yours. Maybe you guys can hook up. ![Icon Neutral](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies2/icon_neutral.gif)
Mods just aren't bringing additional money right now, or very little. A 15 year old car with 6 figures on the odometer brings very little, especially with a bad title. You can always ask $4,000 but it will probably be much less. I'm glad this isn't a 'must sell' situation for you. GLWS!
