Default Car value (after upgrades) ???

Is there a reliable source for finding out how much a car may be theoretically worth after upgrades? Perhaps it's just asking you all!!

Just curious since I wanted to find out about mine in the event I MIGHT consider selling it.

Mods have generally resulted in very little appreciation since the crash in '08. Check the "What's It Worth' section to understand even further why modded cars bring a smaller 'buyer's market' than a 'stock' example. Spend for yourself if that is what you want, but do not expect any return for those expenditures.

I agree, best to keep any stock parts, take off aftermarket stuff with in reason and sell separate. I have found out many times over nobody wants to pay anymore than book price no matter what you have spent in upgrades!!

When I was looking to buy my car I passed up a few where the owner was trying to recoup his money for the mods the car had. As others have said the best route is to always keep the stock parts so you can place them back in and sell the upgrades.

People will pay money for the most reliable regardless of upgrades.
Usually a very aggressive cam will draw away people and not buy but, many look for mild upgrades and will pay more if it has been restored with conservative upgrades and looks.

The overall look and power must have that LOOK that makes you say.......DAAAAAAMN! WWWWWWWOW!

ENGINE NEEDS TO SOUNDS AT GOOD AS IT LOOK.

I figured as much. I destroyed the stock LS1 and used the opportunity to upgrade to an LS6 and supporting mods, plus a few other things... other than that, car is stock. I'm definitely not expecting to break even, but I may be selling the car and want to try and figure a good deal that's fair on both sides.
