1998 trans am ram air roller t-tops,paint is a grey meatllic, rough on both bumpers. Motor locked up in it and i cant decide if I want to sell as a roller or put one of my extra 4.8s in it and sell it running. Car was an auto and has the 16" firebird silver 5 star wheels. The hood is an aftermarket ram air. The interior is compete but the seats are rough. Anyone think I can get $1600 as a roller, or would it be worth $4000 with a 4.8 running? thanks travis

I saw a 98-2000 something Ta for sale down here in south mississippi that had a 5.3 in... it stayed on craigslist forever. very cheap price, not sure if it ever sold. but I didnt want it and I would guess nobody else etheir. think of it this way, would u want a 4.8 or 5.3 cubed trans am? even if it was cheap
if ur willing to put a 4.8 in it..... why dont u go get a stock running lq4, that sell for 800 to 1200$ and put that in it.. then sell for 6 to 7000 $$$
