Rare MDM '99 Z28. Tastefully Modded. What's my Camaro Worth?
Hello all, just seeing what my Camaro is worth out there. Recently have been asked if it's for sale a few times this month and just curious to see.
My Car is a 1999 Camaro Z28, T-Top, Lt. Charcoal Leather Interior, with the rare factory Medium Blue Metallic paint. The paint is why most people want it, haha.
Car has 44k miles on it and for the last 5 years has been a weekend warrior only during the sunny seasons. NO RUST at all as the car is located in the PNW. Pricing is inflated here in this part of the Nation, especially compared to the Mid West or Southern States.
Mods are:

-Patriot Extreme dual valve springs

-UMI 2-pt Subframe Connecters
-UMI T/A relocation crossmember
-CTS-V Brembo 4 piston Calipers and 14in drilled rotors (Powder Coated -- Paint matched to MDM Color)

Nothing. Paint is 9.8/10, interior is 10/10, and EVERYTHING works on the car. Nothing is broken. As good as it gets as I maintain the heck out of this car.

I don't know if it helps you, but I gave 9800 for mine in December and it has 63k miles on it.

I really like that color too.
Sounds like you have some serious $$$ in your ride. You won't be happy to know that very few are paying anything extra for the mods. With the car being in at least 'very good' conditon, from what you describe, I would hope you could get $10,000 with those nice low miles. Modded cars are a tough sell anywhere in the U.S. Someone will have to really like what you have done with the car plus have the cash on hand. Many young 'lookers' will love your car and wish they could buy it, but unfortunately don't have the $$$. Loans for a modded 14 year old car are not easy to get, if possible at all.

I understand the entire 'no money back on mods' for vehicles. It's not like investing in a house. I modded the car for me.
I will say, however, that I had a friend sell his 2001 SS with 70k miles, Pewter, and not as near as good condition as mine, that was bolt on car for almost 13k a few months ago. Cars are inflated here.

That $13,000 for a 70k miles car is absolutely unreal and way above book. I just can't believe that would be your average Northwest price range. If accurate, he just got lucky IMO. If it actually is that way out there, then enjoy the selling aspect, just buy your next car elsewhere in the U.S.
You would think the word would get out and people would be flipping F-bodies every week. That's why it can't be the 'norm'.

I just feel bad for the potential buyer that overpays for one of these 6 figure mileage cars that the dealer probably picked up for $5,000 at some wholesale auction.
