Whatever you paid for it is probably what you could get back if you needed to re-sell (unless you overpaid). You could get lucky and get a little more but it just depends on who is looking for a heavily modded Camaro and who has the cash to pay for it. That's the key that many sellers have trouble grasping. It's a thin 'buyer's market' since most people interested in this Camaro would be younger males. Guess who has the least amount of $$ to spend?
Putting a value on these modded cars is very tough because they are worth so much more than what you can actually get. This section in LS1Tech has just been full of sellers over the years who have very low mileage incredibly modded cars that can't fetch decent money. Buyers want them bad, but no funds available 9 out of 10 times, and the loans for these cars are very difficult to obtain. Example: Seller has a superb clean modded F-body with $20k invested. It certainly is worth every penny of that $20k but may not even be able to get $10k for it. So what's the actual value?

Exactly. To put it into perspective, this particular car books for $11k NADA(rounding up a couple hundred). As far the price in mods, a little bit north of $20k in receipts. I'm not going to say what I paid, because I know I got it for a steal. IMO this car should bring the full 11-12k with the way it sits and possibly more. Just my opinion, but I own the car. Waiting for other input.

I stopped pouring big money into modding my cars because they always took way longer to sell and I usually got beat up on the price vs. what I had into them. The only way you are going to know what it will sell for is to put it up for sale and see what happens. Anything else is just speculation with the danger of getting your hopes up as to what it will actually go for.

I don't have intentions of selling for quite some time. Just more along the lines of determining the value of the car. Now on craigslist... It would be sold for more. People wan't 12k for a 120k+ miles car around here.
