Default 94 z28 39k?

Good day gentlemen! (Or gentlewomen?)

Wondering what a current good value would be. Kbb has it at 4k and I laughed. Auto trader makes me believe its worth 12k.

Its in perfect condition, all original z28.
39k miles never rebuilt or anything, stock as the day it was bought, garaged and kept clean.
Dash is not cracked, no webbing, paint is pristine white.

Oh, its an auto, sorry.

I feel it should be worth about 10k am I insane? Is it really 4k now?

I'd rather have an older trans am

$4K would be insane imo. But I know you could probably find a mint '98-'00 Z28 LS1 with 39K miles for $10K...maybe even as low as 15K-20K miles. Two years ago I saw a couple of 10K-15K miles LS1 automatics being priced around the $9K to $10K level...and not selling! But, things are a bit higher now. In the mid to late 1990's I looked at a 1993-94 white TA with 10K miles...the guy wanted $15K. Which at the time I thought was too high. $10K today does sound too high. $6K to $8K sounds more reasonable. Probably closer to the $6K. But with that car now 20 years old it's considered an "antique" plate car in my state. There are others who would also prefer the '94 over say an '00 and save the difference. Things to consider with a 21 year old car: 21 year old gaskets, seals, radiator, heater core, AC system, etc. Some of those things can be costly to replace. If none of those have been replaced yet I'd say that's a minor miracle. Someone, will have to pay the piper at some point. A good daily driver/back up car for someone.

Note that KBB gives no real mileage premium <65K miles on these older muscle cars. So figure they could be light by $2K to $3K. Check KBB again and see where they stop giving any decent premium for lower miles. Then figure a premium of $700-$1,000 for each 10K miles lower.
