Default WIW.....30th Anniversary Z28 conv?????

Apparently this one has a past. Its M6 with SS hood, slp cat back, lil body damage, a few bolt on engine mods, but has a salvage title with 125k miles, needs some love. Dont mind that it will need some love , but the title thing.mm....what di you all think? Thanks.

30th anniversary Z28 would be the 1997 LT1 - white with orange stripes. If the SS hood is original to the car and it's an SS 35th anniv that would be better.

Ok, it isnt wht/org stripes. Its blue. Not sure if the SS hood is original, dont know how to tell either. Definately not a 30th SS. Ot does have front seats that have 30th Embroidered in them , and in the rear between the two there. Waiting to hear back if the car has Z4C on the tag.

Z4C for Z28 (also R7T for the SS) would be the codes needed for a white/orange stripes 30th anniv car. It's the only scheme available. It would be most unusual if someone repainted the car blue and then also changed the white seats to something else while still keeping the "30th anniv" embroidery. Could be a patched up car using the parts from multiple years.....or some guy's dream "mod."

For all we know, the car may not even be a 1997. I'd get the VIN # from the seller as well to verify. Navy Blue Metallic or dark blue was not an option in 1997. The only blue that year was Quasar blue....or a very bright sky blue (code 80U on the door). They only made 11 Z28 verts in that color in 1997 (no SS's). It's a rare color. Something tells me this car isn't right.
