How much is an LS1 worth?
How much is an LS1 worth? Contemplating pulling the engine from my car and dropping in a 5.3 before the turbo stuff goes on. Not really sure how much the ls1 is worth though and didn't find much locally to be able to judge pricing. Its an 02 with about 140k miles. Runs very good with no problems when I took it off the road Dec 2013. It would be a long block minus pan and any parts I would need to put the 5.3 into my car.
How much could I realistically get for this thing?

It depends on location and market saturation. I know around my way LS anything's seem to command pretty decent prices. If it was a complete drop out I could see at least $2000. For a long block I don't really know.
