I am interested in the car. Haven't seen it yet in person, but even with the mods I think it is a bit steep considering the miles and seat covers may be about a grand??

The mileage ruins any collector value, does have some nice mods. I would say maybe $9-10K in the real world??

A tough car to find with high miles as most of the ones advertised are in the 0K-60K mile range. And if they have higher mileage they tend to be automatics. These cars have mostly been saved and driven sparingly. Even with 111K miles these are in demand. A forum member last year was looking for an inexpensive one of these to modify. Not an easy task. It may not have "collector" value. But, these are still great looking cars with plenty of interest, regardless of mileage. $15K is a lot of money considering that will buy you a '99 WS6 with 15K-20K miles. Any of the 4th gen Pontiac Trans Am anniversary cars don't often show up for sale at <$10K unless the car is a wreck or has 150K-200K miles. With all the mods/cash$$ the current owner has put into the is car, odds are good there is a strong emotional attachment. I'd bet they are pretty firm near their asking price. Find out what other 90K-130K anniv car asking prices are. If this car has a bunch of newer parts it's probably worth as much or more than a pure stock 110K mile car.

The 99 WS6 anniv car is arguably the most desirable of the factory F bodies. With low miles they bring 50% premiums to even a regular 2002 WS6. I don't see how they would not be worth a substantial premium to a 111K mile regular WS6. If I were throwing out a number I'd say a $2K-$4K premium....or $12K-$14K. I agree this car has some nice mods if that's what you want. It's a mean sounding street machine. The current T56 trans sounds like a pain (ie I can't quickly rev match or double clutch). That would be a problem for me...maybe not for you though. I don't think $12K or even $13K would be too much money. See what the other cars around the country are going for. It still comes down to condition. A 111K mile car could be a lot nicer than some 70K mile cars.

Not sure I would pay that much for a car with that mileage. In terms of collectors value...I'm not sure that there really is any with this car. Most serious collectors, the ones that will pay top dollar, want the car bone stock with low mileage. I do like the way these look though.
If you want it as a collectors item I would pass. I don't think it would hold any value as such due to mods & mileage. If it's those specific mods you like I think you could do WAY better price wise with a regular WS6. If you just love the way the anniversary car looks, and they do look sweet, try and work a deal. I guess it depends on why you want it.
