Default 98 White WS6 M6

Curious as to see how much i could get/ask for my ws6 incase i need to sell her

1998 White WS6
138,000 miles
6 speed
Stage 3 monster clutch installed around 115k and havent had one issue

Exterior 8/10:
Needs to be polished and waxed
Hood and headlights need to be re-aligned
CETA needs to be redone
Rims have slight pitting for being 17 years old

Interior 8/10:
Driver seat bolster just ripped like a month ago
Slight crack just above ac vent above radio
Lid is now starting to give out (Not bad considering its the stock 17 year old one)

The good:
Paint is on point
6 Speed with a good clutch and quick bleed line
Brand new battery
Warranty on headlight motors, window motors
Hotchkis strut tower brace
Hotchkis Pan hard rod
Slp lid
After market radio (have original)
Original dash with no cracks
Had the egr/air tuned out and removed
Spark plugs and wires done at 100k

The Bad:
AC went out last year and just never investigated it
Aftermarket hood is a true Superhawk hood and looks great but not a stock ws6 hood
Engine bay needs to be cleaned up and probably painted in some spots
Needs a lot of bushings replaced

This has been in my possession for the past 8 years and still pulls as hard as ever and changed the oil every couple thousand miles. Had a fender bender and had the hood replaced and I replaced the radiator just to be safe. I;m only looking to sell this to help fund my move to Chicago. If not it'll sit at my brothers house till i figure out what to do with it

I was thinking of asking 6k or maybe 5500. Good? Bad?

That price range seems reasonable to me with the AC working, or at least knowing what the actual problem is. The superhawk hoods are a little less desirable than a WS6 hood. Not sure how much to deduct for that (couple hundred?) . KBB shows a $5K "private party sale" price for excellent condition. $4500 in very good. They also don't give a premium for an M6. So another $500+ for that.

I've always been a fan of white 1998 WS6's because they made so many fewer of the '98's. Also the roofs don't bubble for the pre-April built cars. And stone chips are much harder to see when you have white paint on white primer.

Good question. I'd swag 50% to 65% of the cost of the new transmission and nothing for the labor to remove/install. I'm sure there will be some that claim it doesn't add much of anything on a higher mileage car.
