What do you guys think this is worth? I feel like 10,500 is too high, but maybe that's just me.

$9500-$10,000 seems reasonable. Something tells me the owner won't go under $10K as a line in the sand. Though maybe $9750-$9800 gets it done. Still comes down to high well it was cared for and how mechanically sound it is.

The exterior is not a 9.5 of 10 with 60k+ miles. Not possible. Could be an 8 or 8.5 though, maybe even a 9 if the owner was super careful (that would be very rare.) Car does look nice in the pictures, but those pictures aren't very good. So you can expect that he has also overstated the interior condition at 8.5 (maybe more like a 7.5.) Odd that there are no interior pictures. Maybe it's only a 7 inside.

But overall, I agree with this:

I went and looked at the car today, you were right, 10k was his bottom dollar. But it's just as nice in person as it looks in the pics. Here's some more pics of the car:

The engine bay looks very nice for the mileage, well kept for sure. Credit to the owner for that.

The driver's seat bottom has a bit more wear than what I would expect based on the mileage and engine bay condition though.

The rear bumper appears to have some pretty significant paint scuffs - or is that damage in the color coat? As visible as this is in pictures, I'm sure there are other blemishes in person as well. Certainly not a 9.5 of 10, but it does appear to be a nice car.

Looks like a dash pad cover is there which is another good sign they tried to minimize sun damage when the car was out and about. The extra wrinkles and flatness in the driver's seat could be due to a large/heavy person. I've seen a 31K mile WS6 with the front seat mashed nearly flat and ripped all over. Had to figure the owner was huge and could have just sat in the car a lot when it wasn't moving. Pretty clean overall though. Only you can decide if it drives and looks worth the full $10K. It still seems high to me with that miles. I figure my 2 owner '99 SS M6 is only worth $12K and it only has 18K miles.

Winter is moving in on Nebraska and the owner will have to sit with it until spring if they don't move it soon. You know there's going to be things you/they missed and/or they didn't mention. If it's not exactly what you wanted, let them know you're out there at some lower price comfortable to you. If the coolant, rear end, trans, ps fluids aren't up to date you'll spend a couple hundred there.

It's good the brakes, clutch, master cylinder, muffler, tires were already gone through as many owners dump their cars around this mileage and leave it all to the next owner. Figure on some AC work to be done if it hasn't been needed already. Did you ask if they ever charged the system? Eventually they leak.

There wasn't a dash pad cover, I think what your seeing are the sun visors. There isn't any paint damage on the rear.

And I agree about the seat, although it doesn't really look as bad in person. I can always change seats easy enough.

Yeah I thought there was a dash pad cover at first too, but it's just the angle of your picture making the sun visor appear as one.

As for the rear bumper paint, if it's not damage then what are those markings above the rear license plate? There are other apparent markings along the top edge of the bumper as well. They are visible in both the original ad pictures as well as your picture above. Is this just dirt?

I see what you are talking about. I honestly somehow didn't notice that in person. It was probably just dirt. I'll have to check with him and verify.
